As you come in the main entrance of Henry Horton State Park off of Hwy 31A/Sam Davis Hwy/Nashville Hwy take the immediate left that runs parallel to 31A.  (Do not go straight and do not turn right towards the restaurant.)  Follow that road for 200 yards past the rows of picnic tables until you see the large A-frame shelter.  Bear right and go 100 yards past the shelter down the hill towards the river. Parking will be in the two lots on the right and in the marked spaces along the left side of the road.  Please DO NOT park in the grass!
